Here’s a recent video, where the Tata Hexa had a head-to-head collision with a bus, but both the passengers sitting inside the car were safe.

Tata cars are quite popular for their robust build quality. By not compromising on the built, the carmaker has now even made a loyal customer base. However, the Tata Hexa used to be among the most underrated cars in the automaker’s line-up. To prove its capabilities, Tata tested the SUV in extreme conditions and before launching the SUV, the carmaker even said that Hexa has travelled around 8,00,000 kilometres across three continents during its road trials. Although Tata Hexa could not become a big hit, nobody can deny its superb build quality. Here is some multimedia from a recent high-speed accident of Tata Hexa that once again reinstates our belief in the high crash safety offered by this crossover.

The video has been uploaded by the YouTube channel of Nikhil Rana, who demonstrates perfectly the safety and build quality of Tata Hexa. This accident happened in Philibhit, Uttar Pradesh when the owner of the Hexa was on a business tour with his driver. According to the owner of the car, a bus driver was trying to overtake the truck without looking at the tractor-trolley ahead of it. Because of this, the bus driver couldn't surpass the truck on time and eventually hit the Tata Hexa coming from the opposite direction. The intensity of the accident was so high that it completely damaged the front half of the car.

The driver and owner of Tata Hexa suffered major injuries and the owner said that his right hip socket suffered some damage. Moreover, his static nerve also got stretched by 80 per cent because of which he lost senses in his right foot. But, the good part is that he is alive and recovering. The Hexa owner also said that if he was sitting inside a low build quality car during that time then he would be long dead. Tata Hexa is no longer on sale in the Indian market, but earlier this year, the automaker showcased the new BS6 Hexa Safari Edition of the SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo and the updated model could launch in the coming months.
