Tata Nexon is proving its design prowess in every accident. Here's one as well, which was hit by a vehicle from the front and by a rock from the rear.

Tata Nexon was the first Indian car to score full 5 star rating at the G-NCAP’s testbed. For the same reason, the car is praised by the Indian audience. However, helping the car score 5-star rating is the safety net it comes with, along with, of course, the well-built monocoque shell. The visuals of accidents where a Tata Nexon is involved are often shared across various social media platforms. As in most cases, the occupants walk out of the car without any major injuries. Here’s a set of pictures, where a Nexon took impact from the front and as well from the rear. Thankfully, all the passengers who were in the car at the time of the mishap walked out of it without any major injuries.

Also, it looks like as if the car was dragged back in the opposite direction as it took a rear-end impact from a massive rock. In the eent of this horrifying accident, the cabin of the car has not suffered any damages, whatsoever. However, the car’s front-left suspension assembly has been severely damaged. The wheels with the hubs can be seen lying on the roadside.

Tata Nexon's front-end has absorbed the impact in a neat fashion.

The Nexon comes loaded to the gills, with a slew of safety equipment and convenience features. As a part of its safety net, it offers dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelts with pre-tensioner and load limiters, corner stability control, brake disc wiping, traction control, roll-over mitigation, hill-hold assist, electronic brake pre-fill, Isofix child seat mounts, reverse parking camera with sensors and more. The car in the pictures is the pre-facelift model of the Nexon, therefore it might have missed out on a few of the aforementioned safety features

The rear-end has also suffered damages from a rock.

Tata Nexon received a mid-life refresh earlier this year. With the facelift, the car now gets a bolder-looking front-end and an updated infotainment system on the inside along with a new steering wheel. Also, the engines are now BS6 compliant. While the petrol motor has received a power bump of 10 PS over its older figure of 110 PS, the max. torque on the petrol motor remains unchanged at 170 Nm. The diesel motor, on the other hand, continues to produce 110 PS/ 260 Nm of peak output.
