Tata Nexon Electric SUV XZ+ Lux Detailed In A Walkaround Video

The Tata Nexon Electric SUV was launched earlier this year. This walkaround video will provide you with a quick review of the top-spec XZ+ Lux trim of the EV and the features that it offers over the other trims.

Rivalling the MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Kona, the Tata Nexon EV is one of the three Indian EVs that offe quite a long travel range. The electric SUV is offered in three trims: XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. The video below shows the features offered in the XZ+ Lux, the top-spec trim of the electricity-powered version of the fairly popular sub-compact SUV. 

At the beginning of the video, the exterior of the Nexon is shown with the front being similar to the petrol version with polishing projector headlights, LED DRLs, headlight cluster which serves as the turn indicator as well. Moreover, the blue inserts are positioned below the grille around the fog light and the lower part of the bumper. The tri-arrow styling appears in numerous parts of the car.

On the side profile, the EV runs on two-tone alloy rims which give it an upmarket appearance. The electric blue strips are present on the window line, which distinguishes the Tata Nexon EV from regular ICE-powered version. The electric SUV also comes with a grey roof with roof rails. In the rear, the car gets clear lens split LED taillights with Nexon EV badging.

The Tata Nexon EV XZ+ Lux offers various features over other trims.

Being the top-spec trim of the EV, the Tata Nexon XZ+ Lux offers some features over the other trims. While other trims get the black fabric seats which are similar to those in the regular Nexon, the XZ+ Lux comes with a leatherette upholstery on the door pads and all the seats, which gives the latter a much more premium feel. Moreover, the EV also receives an electric sunroof over the lower-spec variants. Other outstanding features of the XZ+ Lux include a touchscreen infotainment system which supports connected car features, a semi-digital instrument cluster, rear EC vents, etc.

The electric SUV can cover a travel range of 312 km on a single charge. The EV receives its power from a 30.2 Kwh high capacity lithium-ion battery which can deliver 129 PS against 245 Nm. It takes around eight hours for the battery to be charged to the fullest via a 15A socket and to 80% in one hour with a fast charger or a DC. The Tata Nexon XZ+ Lux is priced at INR 15.99 lakh.
