Tata Nexon Buyer Gets FREE Extended Warranty & RSA Due to Delay in Delivery

Tata Nexon is one of most capable 2WD SUVs that are available in the country. In its facelifted avatar, it looks youthful too. Moreover, the Nexon comes with a slew of safety features as standard. These attributes have helped the Nexon in carving a niche for itself among the buyers. In comparison to October 2019, Tata Nexon registered a YoY growth of over 55 per cent with a total of 6,888 units sold in October this year. The increase in demand has affected the waiting period for the Nexon. While this might affect the delivery date for those who’ve already booked one, the delay might get you benefited with an extended warranty and roadside assistance from the carmaker.

Recently, a soon-to-be Nexon buyer shared a message on a social media platform that he received from Tata Motors for the delay in his Nexon’s delivery. It read as, “ Dear Vaibhav Joshi, Thank you for your patience, we are aware you have waited more than a month for your new Tata vehicle. As a token of appreciation and goodwill gesture – Extended 1 Year OE Warranty & Road Side Assistance. With production capacity ramped up, and teams working round the clock to service your order, be rest assured.”

The Nexon is offered with a long list of features, such as touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, all-digital instrument cluster, cruise control, keyless entry & go and more. On the safety front, it comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake disc wiping, corner stability control, hill-hold assist, seat belts alerts, high-speed notifications, and seat belts with pre-tensioners and load limiters as standard fitment across the range.

Tata Motors offers the Nexon with two engine options – 1.2L turbo-petrol and 1.5L turbo-diesel. The former is capable of putting out a rated power output of 120 PS and max torque of 170 Nm. The oil burner, on the other hand, pushes out 110 PS of peak power and 260 Nm of rated torque output. The gearbox options on the Nexon include a 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT. Prices for the Nexon start at Rs. 6.99 lakh.
