This 2020 Tata Nexon gets Rs 200 alloy wheels, which looks very similar to that of the original alloy wheels offered with the SUV.
Tata Nexon is one of the most popular SUVs in its segment. It rivals with the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Early this year, the automaker introduced the facelifted new model of the SUV with subtle cosmetic tweaks. It looks quite identical to that of theNexon EV. The regular model of the SUV comes fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels and the option for alloy wheels is only offered with the mid-spec and top-spec trims of the car. The entry-level variants employ 16-inch steel rims with smart-looking wheel caps.
However, the interesting part is that they can be made to mimic the look of alloy wheels of the top-spec variants for just Rs 200. Given above is an image in which one can see how this alloy-wheel like wheel covers look on the SUV. At first glance, these wheel caps can easily trick you into believing they are alloy wheels.
Overall, this mod job is quite impressive and quite worthy for those who are not able to afford alloy wheels. Recently, the carmaker launched the new XM(S) variant of Nexon, which has been priced at Rs 8.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant sports an electronic sunroof, which makes it the most affordable SUV in its segment for offering this feature. Other than this, it also gets features automatic headlamps, steering mounted controls and rain-sensing wipers.
Moreover, it also features Electronic Stability Program, LED DRLs with Projector Headlamps, Hill Hold Control, Driver and Co-Driver Airbags, Connect Next Infotainment System by Harman and Multi- Drive Modes. It is powered by 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former produces 118bhp of peak power and 170 Nm of torque, while the latter produces develops 108bhp and 260 Nm of twisting force. Transmission duties are done by a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AMT. The 2020 Tata Nexon is retailed at a starting price of Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes all the way up to Rs 12.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
