Tata Nexon Looks KILLER in Pearlescent Wrap

Tata Nexon in its facelifted avatar looks appealing for sure. Also, Tata Motors offers it in a total of 7 colour options, namely Foliage Green, Calgary White, Flame Red, Pure Silver, Daytona Grey, and Tectonic Blue. These colours options are also available in dual-tone avatar with a white paint scheme for the roof. However, some owners are just not convinced with OEM colour options and wrap their possessions with custom vinyl wraps. We too came across an example that now wears a pearlescent wrap, which is often referred to as chameleon wrap. This video was shared on a social media platform by Manoj Tammali, who hails from Hyderabad, Telangana.

It can be seen in the video, the lower half of the Nexon is wrapped in the pearlescent shade, while the top half is wrapped in a shade of black. The dual-tone effect makes this Nexon grab a lot of eyeballs. In case you are wondering, what is a pearlescent wrap, let us explain. These wraps generally use white colour as the base, then pearlizing compounds of different colours are added to the base colour. With this composition, the final colour comes up, which is called as pearlescent shade.

The car in the pictures is the top-spec XZ+ trim of the Nexon. It comes fitted with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels from the factory. Also, it gets a slew of features on the inside to keep the occupants in ultimate comfort. The Nexon is offered with 2 engine options – 1.2L turbo-petrol and 1.5L turbo-diesel. The 3-pot petrol motor puts out a peak power output of 120 PS and max torque of 170 Nm. The diesel engine, on the other hand, delivers 110 PS of peak power and 260 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options on the Nexon include a 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT. Talking of the prices, the Nexon starts at Rs. 6.99 lakh and tops out at Rs. 12.70 lakh.
