Here's a short term ownership review of the BS-6 2020 Tata Nexon, where the owner showcases the real-world fuel economy of the compact-SUV.

Tata Nexon is one of the safest compact SUVs that are on sale in India. It has received a mid-life refresh early this year in January. With the update, the Nexon got itself a set of BS-6 compliant engines along with a major facelift job. The car now boats of a masculine front facet with sharper lines and sleeker headlamps. The rear, however, features minuscule changes in the form of revised glow-pattern for tail lamps and lower portion of the bumper. Indian audience loves the Nexon for the way it comes up as a jack of all trades and master of none. In case you feel we just exaggerated, here’s an ownership review we came across on YouTube that reveals something similar.

It is the petrol-manual configuration and the owner claims that it has got enough punch to deal with city traffic and highway drives. He adds that second-gear feels a little low on power. But, he affirms that in Sports mode, the power delivery is better and is not a major concern.

Also, he focuses on the overall fuel economy of the car. In his complete trip of 140+ km, the car constantly delivers a fuel efficiency figure of more than 17 kmpl. The owner concludes his experience as a nice one as the Nexon packs enough punch with frugal nature. Also, he liked the high-set seating position in the Nexon as it gives a commanding view of the road.
