Tata Safari Adventure Persona Arrives At Dealerships, Ready for Delivery

Tata Safari was among the very first vehicles to enter the market in early 2021. A few days ago, Tata Motors has started the delivery of this model. It is reported that on the first day of delivery, 100 units of the Safari were delivered within the New Delhi area. Recently, the Tata Safari Adventure Persona, a special edition of the new SUV, was spotted at the dealership, getting ready for delivery. Tata Safari Adventure Persona is priced from Rs 20.20 lakh to Rs 21.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Tata Motors is offering this special model in two seating configurations, a 6-seater and a 7-seater version. Compared to the standard version, this special edition comes with a few additions in terms of styling. On the front end, the Adventure Persona gets gloss black elements on the grille and the roof rails. For the side profile, the Adventure Persona rides on a set of charcoal black 18-inch mag wheels. Moreover, this version is available exclusively with the Tropical Mist Blue colour only.

On the inside, instead of a white-black theme on the standard model, the Tata Safari Adventure Persona is offered with brown upholstery. There is also an application of chrome and black piano inserts on the inside. About the interior equipment, the SUV is equipped with an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch digital display in the instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, powered driver seat. Moreover, there are also multiple driving modes on board. This includes three drive modes - Eco, City and Sports, and three ESP-based Terrain modes - Normal, Rough and Wet.

While the Tata Safari Adventure Persona gets some styling enhancements, it is still employing the identical powertrain setting. It is powered by the same 2.0-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine that delivers a maximum power of 168 Bhp and a peak torque of 350 Nm. This engine comes with two choices of transmission, including a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic unit. It is also sitting on the same Omega architecture that underpins the Tata Harrier.

At launch, Tata Safari is offered with a front-wheel-drive system only. However, since the D8 platform can be used for both the four-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive layouts, it is possible that Tata Motor will launch the four-wheel-drive version of the Tata Safari at a later stage.
