Tata Tigor is currently the only sedan that the indigenous manufacturer sells in the country. It is based on the same platform as the Tiago, and thus gets the identical 4-star G-NCAP crash test rating. The Tigor has proved of its great build quality during the several accidents that various owners of the cars have reported to date. However, we too came across a gruesome accident, where the Tigor fell 20 meters off the road, while it was cruising around speeds of 120 kmph. The car belongs to Mr. Raghvendra Sharma, who hails from Morena, Madhya Pradesh. The mishap took place when his driver and his friend were heading towards Chattarpur.

Around Tekanpur Gwalior, the driver lost the control on the car and it fell off the road. Also, the car rolled over for 20 meters. The owner adds that the car was over cruising over speeds of 100 kmph at the time of the accident. This sudden loss of momentum and the energy of the impact resulted in a deformed structure of the car. It can be seen in the pictures that the front and rear portion of the car have collapsed. However, the cabin remains intact, and hence saved the lives of the two occupants.
