Tesla cars will soon employ online video streaming feature through YouTube and Netflix which gets confirmed by Elon Musk's recent tweet.

Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of the American electric carmaker Tesla recently tweeted that the Tesla owners would be soon able to stream online videos through digital platforms- Netflix and YouTube- on the infotainment systems of their cars. Elon Musk tweeted "Ability to stream YouTube and Netflix when the car is stopped coming to your Tesla soon! Has an amazingly immersive, cinematic feel due to the comfy seats & surround sound audio. When full self-driving is approved by regulators, we will enable video while moving."

Tesla owners would be soon able to stream online videos through digital platforms like Netflix and YouTube.

Moreover, the company has also revealed games which a driver can play on the screen of their Tesla cars. But, one can only operate these games when the vehicle is stationary by which steering wheel can be used as a controller. The video streaming feature doesn't seem to work that amazingly in several Tesla models, because the Model S and X employs large screens but, these screens are positioned vertically which is not preferred by anyone who watches shows, movies or videos online. However, the forthcoming Tesla Model 3 and Y will feature a horizontally positioned screen which will possibly make them one of the most preferred cars for online streaming.

Tesla seems to be planning to launch the Tesla in the Indian car market by 2020.

In other news, the electric carmaker is also planning to launch the Tesla in the Indian market by 2020. This information came from Elon Musk when he was interacting with the IIT Madras students that participated in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition 2019. A young lad named Suryash Singh, with a team named Avishkar, confirmed the statements made by Elon via email. In response, Elong Musk replied "Would love to be there this year. If not, definitely next! [heart] India." Moreover, Musk also blamed government policies, which have become a big hurdle for the carmaker to debut in the country. Initially, we expect Tesla to launch Model 3 in our market. In the US, Model 3 carries a price tag of 35,000 $.
