All-black cars are often fancied by car lovers. While Tata Harrier officially gets a dark-themed iteration, this Kia Seltos has opted for the aftermarket route to wear a darker outfit.

The Kia Seltos is one of the best-selling SUVs in the country. There are many reasons behind the Seltos's success, but one of the most important of all is its styling. However, not all the owners are happy with the way Seltos looks in its stock form. Therefore they often choose to tweak the look of their cars by modifications. Here’s a Kia Seltos that we came across on a social media platform, and it features an all-black theme like the Tata Harrier Dark Edition. It belongs to one Jackson K. Joseph from Kerala. While Kia Seltos is one of the few cars that are offered with a black paint scheme from the factory, but this one has been blackened-out to almost every possible extent.

To start with, it has been de-chromed to an appreciable extent, and most of the chrome bits and pieces are replaced with piano-black elements. This suite has been followed for the parts like fog lamp housings, radiator grille, and door cladding. Also, the lower portion of the headlamps has been tinted with dark-black vinyl film. Parts like window frames, roof rails, and skid plate, on the other hand, continue to do with the chrome detailing. The brake callipers on this Seltos are now painted in fluorescent green, which makes them pop out on a dark-themed car. On the inside, this Seltos retains the black-beige dual-tone theme.

Seltos is offered with 3 engine options. The first one on the list is a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol motor, and it puts out 115 PS against 144 Nm. It is offered with 2 transmission options – 6-speed MT and CVT. The next one on the list is a 1.5L turbocharged diesel, which belts outs 115 PS of peak power and 250 Nm of max torque, and it can be had mated to either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT. The last and the smallest motor on offer is the 1.4L turbo-petrol unit that churns out a peak power output of 140 PS and max torque of 242 Nm. It can be had coupled to either a 7-speed DCT or a 6-speed MT.
