Here's a Chevrolet Cruze that has been modified to feature a front face of the legendary Camaro. Take a look.

Chevrolet halted operations in India back in 2017 due to poor sales. The brand introduced some of the nicest cars in the respective segments, but the Indian audience was not ready to adopt the American brand. Chevrolet Cruze was one of them. It was introduced in India in 2009 and was on sale till 2017. Initially, when it was launched, the Cruze was ahead of its time. However, in the span of 8 years, Cruze was kept away from any major update. Although, it still is a delight to drive one. For the same reason, a lot of clean examples can be seen kitted up with massive alloy wheels and low profile tyres, hooning around on the streets. Here’s one, which also gets Camaro’s face.

The modified Chevrolet Cruze mimics the front-end of a Chevrolet Camaro.

The car in the pictures here is the first-gen model. It has been modified by DAC Deep Customs, who are based out of Punjab. It has been modified to look like the bigger-faster-meaner Camaro. The front fenders on this Cruze have been redesigned to fit the new front bumper. The bonnet is also customized with the use of a massive hood vent. It should be noted that workmanship is at its best in this modification. Since nothing else is changed on the body of this Cruze, the Camaro face does look out of place.

Talking of the alloy wheels, they are 20-inches in diameter. They have been sourced from KB Tyres, Ludhiana, Punjab. They are BMW-replicas and boast of a busy design. Nonetheless, they do give the car a much-needed character, while they also fill up the wheel arches completely. Also, we are not aware of if things are souped-up under the hood as well. There's no need as well. The stock 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine on Cruze is more than adequate to let the wheels spin loose. It belts out a peak power output 163 BHP and 380 Nm of max torque. It could be had mated to either a 5-speed MT or an AT. And, this combination helps the Cruze hit the tonne mark from standstill in just 9.7 seconds. The top speed is electronically-restricted at 184 kmph.
