Here’s a Mahindra Gio pick up-fitted with 13-inch alloy wheels. The mod job has been done by Velocity Tyres.

Indians are quite fanatic about modifying their cars with swanky looking alloy wheels. The main reason behind this modification is to make their vehicle look unique. Earlier, the trend of modifying cars was only limited to urban areas, but now the people from rural areas are also customizing their vehicles with aftermarket alloy wheels. Here are a few pictures of Mahindra Gio, which employs sporty looking alloy wheels. Mahindra Gio is a small pickup truck from the automaker. As you can see in the pictures that this Mahindra Gio gets 13-inch two-tone alloy wheels, which enhances the overall appeal of the pickup and make it more eye-catching.

This modifications job has been done by Velocity Tyres Ludhiana. The overall cost of this modification is not known, but these aftermarket units seem to be quite affordable because of their small size. The mini pickup truck in no more sale in India, it was discontinued in our market after the implementation of the new BS6 emission norms. Earlier, it was powered by a BS4, direct-inject, single-cylinder motor, which develops 6.8bhp of power and 21 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed MT.

In other news, Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the new-gen Thar in the Indian market on 2nd October 2020. It was first revealed by the carmaker last month. Mechanically, it will derive power from a petrol and diesel engine. Both the engines will come mated to a manual and automatic transmission. The new-gen Mahindra Thar will be offered with six different colour shade options namely- Mystic Copper, Aqua Marine, Napoli Black, Rocky Beige, Red Rage and Galaxy Grey. Inside, the all-new off-roader will come loaded with features like roof-mounted speakers, 12-volt accessory socket, cruise control, front power windows and remote keyless locking. It also gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with latest connectivity options. The SUV is expected to be priced between Rs 10 to 15 lakh. Once launched, it’ll rival with the likes of upcoming Maruti Jimny and Force Gurkha.
