Maruti Alto K10 was a small car targeted at first-time buyers. However, this owner has almost bought the car twice by investing more than Rs. 4.00 lakh in modifying it

Modifying a car involves spending a lot of money to make a build look sweet and perform better than the stock unit. Sometimes, owners end up investing as much money as the cost of the car itself. But they might still feel the urge to fit in some more customizations in their prized possessions. Recently, we came across one such example, where the owner has modified his Alto K10 to look insanely cool. But it set him back by Rs. 4.00 lakh, which is almost the same amount he paid when bought the car.

Starting with the craziest mod job performed on this hatch, it is the scissors doors. Yes! You read it right, it gets a set of Lambo-style front doors. Cost of this modification as revealed by the owner is Rs. 70,000. Next on the list are the wheels and the tyres. It sits on a set of 15 x 10.5J deep-dish alloy wheels that are shod with super-wide tyres. The rims and tyres together have set the owner back by another Rs. 70,000. Other modification on this Maruti Alto K10 include a glossy-red vinyl wrap, fender extensions, body skirts all around, and a roof-mounted spoiler.

The lights on this modified Alto have also been upgraded. It gets aftermarket headlamps with dual-function LED DRLs. The tail lamps are, however, stock units but now get a vinyl wrap to mimic the smoked effect. It also gets a LED bar at the front and the foglamps are fitted with LED bulbs as well. The exhaust on this little-red hatch is also changed with an HKS full-system unit. It is a spitfire unit with pops and crackles making it an attention seeker on the road.

The glossy-red vinyl wrap on this modified Maruti Alto looks sick and surely deserves some appreciation.

On the inside, the cabin is upholstered in a shade of red. It misses out on the stock seats to get a set of Sparco racing buckets. The centre console also features red highlights, while it gets a classic switch to turn on the engine. The owner has also installed a high-end aftermarket music system, worth Rs. 1.40 Lakh. This is one of the most tastefully modified examples of Maruti Alto K10 we’ve come across.
