Maruti Vitara Brezza is one of the most practical SUVs in the segment, but it can also come across as a tad dull. However, the modified example here is inspired by Lexus.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza was launched in 2016, and since then has been a consistent top seller for the brand. It is one of the go-to choices for new buyers in the highly competitive compact SUV due to its well-specced variants, good fuel efficiency, and Maruti’s unparalled aftersales experience. The Vitara Brezza recently got a mid-life facelift which added minor tweaks. Visually not many changes except a new chrome front grille while the headlamps get a dual-LED projector treatment with DRLs that also function as indicators. The bumpers get a revised design front and rear with faux skid plates added. Nothing else changes much except that you get newly redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels.

If you think that this facelift is very small and imperceptible to your eyes, then we have got this Maruti Vitara Brezza which has got a more extensive one. As you can see in the picture, the stock front end of the Vitara Brezza has been replaced with a brand new one. The grille is clearly inspired by modern-day Lexuses with its signature spindle design and comes in a blacked-out shade. The front bumper has had to be replaced as well and in comes a new one with redesigned air intakes and a faux lip spoiler. It also gets some non-functional air scoops and latches to complete the look. The car also gets a set of aftermarket 5-spoke alloys that look better than the stock one.

The biggest change with the updated 2020 Maruti Vitara Brezza is that it is now only available with a petrol engine. It is a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder unit that churns out 105 PS/ 138 Nm of peak power and torque figures. It can be paired to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. The previous 1.3-litre diesel engine has been discontinued as it didn’t meet the new BS-VI emission norms, in fact, all Maruti vehicles are only available with petrol engines only currently. Prices for the Maruti Vitara Brezza start from Rs 7.34 lakh for the base LXI trim and go up to Rs 11.40 lakh for the ZXI Plus Dual Tone. All prices are ex-showroom, respectively.
