Tata Nano is known as the cheapest car of the Indian market to the Indian audience. It was the dream project of Tata Motor’s chairman – Ratan Tata. As he wanted to sell a car for Rs. 1.00 lakh in the Indian market. Well, the carmaker managed to do so and launched the Nano at a starting price of Rs. 1.00 lakh in the year 2008. However, the Nano failed to pull the crowd for some reasons. In the year 2018, Tata Motors pulled the plug on Nano’s production. But, a lot of examples can still be seen on the roads in mint condition. Moreover, some owners have modified their cars to look even better.
