Here’s a recent video which shows a pre-facelift Tata Nexon easily climbing up a 20-feet steep sand mountain

Tata Nexon is one of the most capable SUVs in its segment. Nexon owners across India are happy with their car and thinks that it is one of the best sub-4-meter SUV a person can buy in India. In our market, it rivals with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. Moreover, it is the first sub-4-meter SUV to score a 5-star rating at the Global NCAP crash test. Tata Nexon is not offered with an AWD or 4X4 system, but it comes with drive modes that change the engine’s power and torque output. But, Tata Nexon is really capable enough to do something that seems impossible? Here’s a recent YouTube video, which shows Tata SUV climbing steep sand wall.

This video is uploaded by a YouTube channel named as madhu Chandra. The exact location of this video is not known, but it seems to be a location where off-road enthusiasts visit to test the capabilities of their cars. The video shows a Tata Nexon speeding towards a steep mountain and effortlessly climbing it up without any hassle. It looks quite an easy task for the Tata SUV. The vlogger who have made this video mentions that this is the petrol model of the SUV. This is the pre-facelift Tata Nexon, which derives power from a 1.2-litre turbocharged gasoline motor that produces 110 PS of peak power and 150 Nm of twisting force. The video did not mention if the car has climbed the sand tune with stock tyres or aftermarket units.

The sand wall also seems to be solid enough and there is no loose sand or mud, which ensures that the tyres have enough grip to push the Tata SUV on the top. Tata introduced the new BS6 model of the SUV early this year. The 2020 Tata Nexon looks almost identical to that of the Nexon EV. The automaker has made subtle tweaks on outside and inside.
