This Tata Nexon Gets ‘Alloys’ For Just Rs 200

While the higher variants of the Tata Nexon get alloy whees, here's a lower model whose wheel caps have been painted to mimic the look of the mags

Tata Nexon is one of the top-selling SUVs in its segment. It is also the safest car in the sub-4-meter SUV segment. The Tata SUV is popular among the enthusiasts for its robust built quality and spacious interiors. It competes with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport and Mahindra XUV300. To make the SUV look more appealing, people around the country modify it as per their preference and budget. People with a constrained budget mainly prefer some affordable customizations. Here’s one such modified Tata Nexon, where the owner has employed aftermarket wheels, which carries a price tag of Rs 200.

At first glance, these aftermarket wheel caps seem like dual-tone alloy wheels. These wheel caps look reminiscent to the 16-inch alloy wheels offered with the top-spec variant of Tata Nexon. This mod job is pretty impressive and is meant for those who can afford alloy wheels. Tata Nexon is one of the best-selling products in the carmaker’s stable. Mechanically, it derives power from a 1.2-litre diesel and a 1.5-litre petrol engine. The former puts out 118bhp of power and 170 Nm of peak torque, while the latter produces power and torque outputs of 108bhp and 260 Nm. The engine comes coupled to a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AMT.

In terms of dimensions, the 2020 Tata Nexon is 3993mm long, 1811mm wide, 1606mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2498mm. 
Inside, it comes loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, steering mounted controls, electric sunroof, automatic AC, reverse parking camera, rear sensors and much more. Moreover, it also features Electronic Stability Program, LED DRLs with Projector Headlamps, Hill Hold Control, Driver and Co-Driver Airbags, Connect Next Infotainment System by Harman and Multi- Drive Modes. The 2020 Tata Nexon is retailed at a starting price of Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes all the way up to Rs 12.70 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
