Take a look at this Tata Nexon, which looks monstrous with its massive wheels and increased ride height, thereby giving it a stance

Tata Nexon is one of the best-selling cars of the Indian manufacturer. It is highly loved for its build quality and 5-star Global NCAP crash test rating. Also, it is quite fancied for its bulbous stance that makes it look meaty. Nexon owners are often seen modifying their possessions with AT tyres and other off-road accessories to look even more menacing. However, we came across a digitally-modified example of the Nexon which can be best described as a mini monster truck with a ride height equivalent of, say, a Toyota Fortuner. The Maruti Vitara Brezza-rival has been virtually modified by Alpha Renders, and we came across this example via a social media platform.

Tata Nexon Gets a Lift Kit, Can Scare Almost Every Road User

Talking of the changes, it gets plenty of them. The most noticeable of all is its increased ride height. This Nexon has been lifted off the ground to a very high extent. All of this is done to make it ride on a set of beefy off-road-spec tyres, which are shod on dual-tone alloy wheels. Sadly, installing such a lift kit on the stock Nexon is nearly impossible. Even if someone manages to make his/her Nexon ride this high off the ground, the modification will affect the monocoque frame adversely.

Other modifications on this Nexon include a revised front bumper, which now houses a winch and a couple of auxiliary lamps. Another set of auxiliary lamps is mounted around the A-pillars, while a long LED light bar sits on the roof. Also, to ease the accessibility, the tuner has managed to fit side steps on this Nexon. There are chunky wheel arches as well, which make the complete modification look appealing.

The Nexon is offered with two engine options – 1.2L turbo-petrol and 1.5L turbo-diesel. The petrol motor puts out 120 PS of peak power output and max torque of 170 Nm. However, the oil burner develops a rated power and torque output of 110 PS and 260 Nm. The gearbox options on the Nexon include a 6-speed MT and 6-speed AMT. With a starting price of Rs. 6.99 lakh, the Nexon rivals against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Ford EcoSport.
