Tiago is the cheapest and smallest offering from the Tata’s stable. It starts at Rs. 4.69 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs. 6.62 lakh. Tiago is quite famous around India audience for the features it comes with and the safety standards it offers. In the facelifted avatar, the Tiago continues to don the same silhouette as the pre-facelift model. It gets a few changes that include a revised front facet with redesigned bumper and headlamps. We came across a video on YouTube that was uploaded by Motor Torsion on his YouTube channel. He showcases a Tata Tiago that now gets a set of LED DRLs as an aftermarket addition. The cost of this modification in the video is stated as Rs. 600, which is affordable by all means. These LED DRLs are in the form of a silicone strip, which is fixed on the headlamps with the use of an adhesive. The host explains that these LED DRLs could’ve been fixed from the inside as well. However, it was only possible after tampering the dust seals of the headlamps, which isn’t advisable at all. With tampered dust seals, there are chances that water and dust get amassed inside the headlamp assembly.

These LED DRLs also work in conjunction with the turn indicators. Moreover, the turn indicators on these DRLs work in a floating style fashion. Talking of the powertrain, the Tiago is offered with a 1.2L 3-cylinder naturally aspirated Revotron petrol engine. It is designed to put out a peak power output of 86 PS and 113 Nm of max torque. The gearbox options on the Tiago include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. If reports are to go by, Tata Motors is currently working a turbo-petrol motor for the Tiago, which will produce around 100 PS of max power along with a peak torque in the range of 140-150 Nm.
