Toyota Fortuner is the top-selling SUV in its segment. It is popular among the buyers for its aggressive looks, spacious & feature-loaded cabin and off-road capabilities. In its segment, it rivals with the likes of MG Gloster, Ford Endeavour and Mahindra Alturas G4. It is also one of the most customized SUVs. Here are a few images of the Toyota Fortuner, which gets Hilux like front-end.

Front-side-look-of-Toyota-Fortuner

The Toyota Fortuner you see here gets a new conversion kit upfront, which has been designed by a Thai-based aftermarket workshop. This is the Toyota Fortuner Sportivo, which is sportier trim of the SUV offered in Thailand. Talking about the modifications, it gets Hilux-like projector headlamps, unique looking front fog lamps, muscular blacked-out plastic cladding. On the side, it features blacked-out multi-spoke alloy wheels, which are wrapped with dual-purpose tyres. This particular Toyota Fortuner is finished in dual-tone exterior paint. Other than this no significant changes have been made on the side and rear of the car. This Toyota Fortuner looks unique as well as more stylish with the front-end of Hilux. Toyota has recently launched the new facelift model of the SUV.

The SUV is now also offered in the Legender trim, which is also sold in several Asian markets. The price of the top-spec diesel variant is now around Rs 3 lakh more expensive. The new Toyota Fortuner is offered at a starting price of Rs 29.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base trim and goes all the way up to Rs 37.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top-spec model. The pre-facelift model of the SUV was priced between Rs 28.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) to Rs 34.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Mechanically, it derives power from a 2.8-litre diesel motor, which is now tuned to produce 204 PS of power and 500 Nm of torque. It also gets propelled by a 2.7-litre petrol mill, which develops power and torque outputs of 166 PS and 245 Nm.
