Throughout four generations, it has proved its value as one of the top-selling as well as the best sedans in India. The latest models offer a value-for-money package including touch-screen, cruise control, automatic climate control, reverse camera, rain-sensing wipers, automatic LED headlamps, electric sun-proof as well as fulfilling safety features.

About the engine, there will be two engine options, which are 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine is able to create 119PS/145Nm while the diesel engine could make 100PS/200Nm. Diesel variant only gets a six-speed manual transmission and the petrol variant could go with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.

The base Amaze is priced at 5.6 lakhs and the top-of-the-line variant will cost 9.0 lakhs. With the budget of 10 lakhs, you can get everything from the Amaze package. The Amaze receives power from either a 1.2-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel engine. And the transmission duty is delivered by a five-speed manual transmission (standard) or a CVT (optional). #4. Maruti Suzuki Dzire sedan: From INR 5.56 Lakhs

Maruti Suzuki Dzire is priced between 5.56 and 9.43 lakhs. 10 lakhs allow you to get the top-spec variant, which receives advanced features like automatic LED projector headlamps, rear parking camera, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, passive keyless entry, engine start/stop button, auto climate control, and electronically adjustable and foldable ORVMs.

The Dzire is run by either a 1.2-litre petrol or a 1.3-litre diesel engine. For the petrol engine, the power and torque figures are 82PS and 113Nm and 75PS and 190Nm for the diesel engine. These might not sound as impressive as other cars on the list. But in terms of fuel efficiency, the Dzire is really stand-out with 22kmpl in petrol cars and 28.40kmpl in diesel cars. #5. Hyundai Xcent sedan: From INR 5.5 Lakhs

Xcent is available at a reasonable price, ranging from 5.5 to 8.58 lakhs. The recent facelift has given a new 7.0-inch infotainment system supported by either Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The Xcent gets two states of tune from the same 1.2-litre engine, one could manage to produce 75 PS/190Nm, and the other is able to create 83PS/114Nm.
