The Toyota Urban Cruiser is the offspring of a partnership between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki which allows them to share vehicles and technology. In the video that has been uploaded by 48 Automobile on their YouTube channel, we look at the 5 things that differentiate the Toyota Urban Cruiser from the Maruti Vitara Brezza.

Styling

The Toyota Urban Cruiser gets few visual changes that help it stand out from the Maruti Vitara Brezza as it gets a Fortuner inspired twin-slat grey grille with chrome side inserts and a revised front bumper as well while on the interior you get a tan-brown interior instead of the all-black cabin of the Maruti Vitara Brezza.

Warranty

The Maruti Vitara Brezza gets a warranty of 2 years/40,000 kms which is pretty good but Toyota goes the extra mile by giving the Urban Cruiser a 3 years/1 lakh kms warranty package. Considering the internals for both vehicles are identical, you wonder if Maruti could have done the same as well.

Aftersales Service Packages

Toyota in a bid to woo customers to buy their new Urban Cruiser, and has been offering some enticing service packages. For the first year of ownership, you get 2 labour free services and all fluids are going to be changed free-of-cost, which should save you quite a bit of money.

Toyota Connect App

Toyota is providing its owner’s their all-in-one Connect App which offers a fully integrated services platform, making owning the Urban Cruiser even more stress-free. And since Maruti has been charging around Rs 10,000 for its own Connect App, Toyota’s offer sounds even more pleasing.

Colours

Though both Toyota and Maruti offer 9 colours for their respective compact SUVs, the Urban Cruiser gets a few brighter colours like a cool blue, burnt orange, and a brown one which catches the eye of people a bit more sometimes.
