The TVC highlights how the two SUVs are different from each other. Toyota has tweaked the styling of the Fortuner to a whole new level with sleeker LED-projector headlamps and integrated LED daytime running lamps. The front grille design is also new and so is the muscular-looking front bumper. The black mesh garnish in the fog lamp enclosure and silver skid plate do add to the ruggedness of the vehicle.

Being a more premium iteration, the Toyota Legender gets a more prominent look, courtesy of the split front grille with gloss back garnishes. Most of the chrome elements of the Fortuner facelift have been blacked out on the Legender, while the quad LED headlamps, LED DRLs, fog lamps and even the bumper get a different look. There’s a set of sequential LED turn indicators on the lower half of the bumper. The alloy wheels of the Fortuner and Legender are of the same size but the design marches a different beat. While the Legender comes with multi-layered dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels, the regular Fortuner facelift offers chrome metallic finished units. Both the SUVs get a revised rear bumper with updated LED taillights and roof-mounted rear spoiler. One thing that differentiates the rear end of the Toyota Fortuner vs Legender is the “L” shaped black insert near the reflector lamp of the latter model.
