Here's a render showing how India's most popular MPV, the Toyota Innova Crysta in an all-electric avatar. Looks interesting, though.

Since it arrived in the Indian market over 5 years ago, the Toyota Innova Crysta has been the undisputed leader of the MPV segment. It comes loaded with pretty much everything you can wish for and offers a very refined and comfortable experience which makes it a very easy vehicle to cover long distances. Combined with Toyota’s renowned reliability, good aftersales service, and relatively affordable pricing, it becomes the go-to MPV for consumers. The Toyota Innova Crysta is so dominant, that it has over a 50% market share in the MPV segment. Toyota just gave its best-selling MPV a mid-life update a couple of months ago which gives the Innova Crysta a mild exterior design refresh, updated interiors, and more up-to-date features. But, how it will look like in the future with IC engines being replaced by electric powertrains? Here's a rendering to put you at ease.

Toyota Innova EV Render Gives An Idea What The Future Of The MPV May Look Like

The picture of this Toyota Innova EV render has been uploaded by innovamodified on Instagram. Dubbed the Innova Reborn EV, it is a digital imagining of how the MPV may look like if it goes full electric in the future. You’ll notice that the general design and dimensions remain the same, but the first thing you’ll notice is that it doesn’t have a front grille. Since an EV doesn’t need radiators to cool its powertrain, there is no need for a grille or air intakes to feed fresh air to the engine.

The whole front-end has been blanked out and gives the MPV a very different character. The charging port is now on the left side of where the grille used to be. Over to the interior, it looks largely similar to the current model but gets new blue ambient lighting to remind you its an EV and the new digital instrument cluster now shows the speed, charge level, and remaining charge.
