After looking at these images, it seems like that the collision has happened at high speed. These pictures were posted online by Team-BHP, and it shows the badly damaged Innova Crysta standing at the side of the road. This incident has happened last year but has recently come back into the limelight on social media.

The owner of the Innova says that the other car which was involved in this accident was a white coloured Hyundai Santro. The Hyundai hatchback entered the main road from a slip road at high speed without looking at the traffic on the main road. Toyota Innova Crysta was apparently being driven at a decent speed when the Santro joined the main road. The front-left-side part of the MPV suffered major damage on the collission of the two vehicles.

In total, three passengers were sitting inside the car at the time of the accident. These include the driver (car owner) and his two nephews. None of the 7 airbags in the Innova Crysta deployed, and the car owner was quite upset about this because everyone was wearing seatbelts. The good news here is that all the three passengers escaped with only a few scratches and bruises. This incident raises some questions on the effectiveness of the airbag sensors but it also goes on to show the robust build quality of the Toyota Innova Crysta.
