Toyota Vellfire MPV has been spotted for several times while being introduced to dealers and potential customers before its official launch in the India market.
Toyota has scheduled to launch the Vellfire MPV in India by the end of this year. Speculations about the launch of a luxury MPV Toyota has been around for almost a decade but not until now do we see an actual move from the Japanese car manufacturer. About the luxury Vellfire, this MPV shares many elements with the Alphard except for the exterior design. The launch of the Vellfire is practically settled as Toyota has introduced this new model to people from dealerships and potential buyers earlier. Recently, new images of Vellfire in one of these meetings have revealed its entire look.
Toyota Vellfire is a luxury MPV with a pronounced exterior design and an extremely comfortable interior
Toyota has lent a heavy use of chrome application on the front end of the Vellfire. The front grille sports three chrome bars that dominate the fascia. The bumper of the Vellfire is lowered and also features a chrome bumper lip. Having a short front overhang, the MPV can get the best interior space out of the given length. It is notable that the styling of the Vellfire is uncompromising with a squarish, exaggerated and straight-forward design.
While the exterior of the Vellfire looks bold and prominent, its interior design is speaking the language of premiumness and luxury. Top-notch features are packed to the brim. The interior of the Vellfire sports not one but two sunroofs. Besides, the infotainment system is fully-equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and another 10.2-inch screen for rear row. It also features trio-zone automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, ventilated seats, and ambient mood lighting. The second row comes as two super comfy captain seats which get power reclining function. Moreover, the front and second row passengers have control over the front and rear sunroofs, respectively. The Vellfire has no separate interior space for storage, which is a trade-off for comfortable seats. However, it is not the dead end for storage capacity. The foldable seats can make way for loading more stuffs. Toyota Vellfire also comes with a fully loaded safety feature package including seven airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control, and electronic parking brake.
Toyota Vellfire is equipped with all the goodies that one could wish for an enjoyable drive
In terms of engine, Toyota Vellfire is expected to be powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine with hybrid system. This powertrain can put out a maximum power of 178 PS and 235 Nm. All-wheel-drive system might be available as an option as well. After launch, Toyota Vellfire will compete head-on with the Mercedes-Benz V-Class MPV. Just like the Mercedes V-Class, the Vellfire will also be imported as a CBU (completely build unit). Both of these vehicles set their sights on large family transport and luxury tour operator business. The price of the Toyota Vellfire is expected to range from Rs 75 lakh to 80 lakh.
