DC Avanti is quite popular among all those who need to buy a sportscar but are limited by budget. The Avanti is the first made-in-India sportscar and the two-seater, two-door coupe has been designed by Dilip Chhabria. It offers a good amount of ground clearance to suit the Indian conditions and derives power from a potent turbocharged petrol mill. Here is a DC Avanti, which has been customized into a roadster and is currently for sale in India. The roof of the sports car can be easily folded down and this is the only known example of a drop-top Avanti. This car is being sold by Big Boy Toyz, a famous dealer of used luxury and exotic cars.

This DC Avanti looks extremely amazing in roadster form. A lot of changes have been made to the body of the car. It is painted in Royal Blue colour, which makes the sportscar look more eye-catching. Upfront, the car looks like the regular DC Avanti, but the rear fascia features red inserts that make the two-door car look sportier.

The engine comes paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Moreover, the sports car can achieve an electronically limited top speed of 200 kmph. BBT is asking Rs 29 lakh for this modified DC Avanti, which is not at all a bad deal. It is the most affordable convertible car in the Indian market.
