The largest segment in the market will be even more crowned in the upcoming years with various new launches across the industry.

This year and probably the next years will mark a significant transition of the automobile market into a stricter and more sustainably-oriented industry thanks to the arrival of new stringent safety and emission norms. Carmakers are set on to renovate their whole range with facelift and generation updates in response to the upcoming regulations. That’s why 2019 will see a wave of new vehicles to embark on the market. Many among these new vehicles will target at the SUV space, apparently, as the result of the recent surge in demand for SUVs. But the dominant force in the market remains to be the hatchback. That’s also why hatchbacks will still be at the centre of 2019 launches. Here is the list of all models that will soon be introduced in 2019.

Renault Kwid Facelift

Launch date: Late 2019

To come to terms with the new safety standard, the Kwid will come with a driver side airbag, ABS and EBD. Moreover, other entertainment aids are also expected to be featured on the new Kwid. That’s said, the underneath powertrain is likely to stay unchanged. It will bring forward the existing engine options including a 0.8-litre (54PS/72Nm) and 1.0-litre petrol engine (68PS/91Nm).

Even with more techs under its belts, Renault Kwid is unlikely to lose its biggest selling point – the aggressive pricing.
