Upcoming Tata-Altoz Based C2-sedan Peregrine Rendered Digitally

Here a recent digital rendering which shows how the upcoming Tata Altroz-based sedan- Tata Peregrine could look like.

Tata Motors launched its first-ever premium hatchback named as Altroz in the Indian market early this year to rivals with the likes of Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20 and VW Polo. Recent reports suggest that the carmaker is working on an all-new C2-sedan, which is codenamed as Peregrine. Once launched, the upcoming Tata sedan will rub shoulders against Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Verna, VW Vento and Skoda Rapid. We are still waiting for Tata to reveal more specs their upcoming premium sedan. In terms of looks, one can expect it to look a bit identical to that of the Altroz hatchback. Here’s a recent digital rendering, which will give you an idea that how the all-new Tata Peregrine could look like.

This rendering has been made by Omkar Surve Design. The design language of the upcoming Altroz-based sedan looks modern and aggressive. Upfront, it gets sleeker LED headlight, which makes the front-end of the sedan look aggressive. It also gets LED DRLs, which are placed below the headlamp cluster. On the side, it gets muscular wheel arches. The sedan sits on two-tone multi-spoke alloy wheels, which makes the Peregrine look more eye-catching. Moreover, the glass area and doors are nicely sculpted and are gelling up well with the overall design language of the sedan. To give it a more engaging look, the design has tried to give a cope-like roof to the sedan.

The rear quarter panels of Peregrine get fancy LED taillights which are carried over to the boot lid. The upcoming Tata Peregrine is likely to derive power from 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The former will produce power and torque outputs of 120 PS and 170 Nm, while the latter will develop 110 PS  and 260 Nm of twisting force. The engine will come paired with a 6-speed MT as standard. Soon, the automaker has also planned to introduce the new turbo petrol trim of Altroz hatchback, which will come paired with a DCT gearbox. It is likely to launch in our market by next month.
