Upcoming Toyota Innova Crysta Facelift Digital Rendering

Toyota Innova Crysta is the top-selling car in its carmaker’s line-up. The MPV has been serving the Indian markets for a long time now. Like the old-gen model, the ongoing Innova Crysta is also a big hit in the domestic market. The competition is rapidly increasing in the premium MPV segment and even though the Innova Crysta does not have any direct competitor, it is facing some heat from the likes of Mahindra Marazzo and Kia Carnival. Here, we have a new digital rendering, which gives us an idea of what the upcoming 2021 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift could look like.

Starting from the styling changes, upfront, the MPV gets sleeker LED headlamps along with LED DRLs. People at IA Design have done all these tweaks to the regular Toyota Innova retailed in the Indonesian car markets. The conventional hexagonal front grille has been replaced by a honeycomb mesh unit, and the same treatment has been given to the fog lamp area.

On the side, the only change one can observe is the employment of sporty-looking multi-spoke alloy wheels. Other than this, everything remains the same in terms of design. The India-spec Toyota Innova Crysta is offered with petrol and diesel powertrain options. The petrol engine comprises of a 2.7-litre four-pot engine that produces 164bhp of power at 5,200 rpm and 245 Nm of peak torque 4,000 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed MT or 6-speed automatic transmission.

The MPV also gets propelled by a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder oil-burner, which puts out power and torque outputs of 148bhp and 343 Nm. Transmission duties are done by a 5-speed MT or an automatic gearbox. The cabin of the car comes loaded with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, push start/stop button, steering mounted controls, premium leather seats, 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill-start Assist and much more. Toyota Innova Crysta is retailed at a starting price tag of Rs 15.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and goes all the way up to 24.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
