Will You Buy This DC-Modified 2013 Toyota Innova For Rs 8.5 Lakh

Toyota Innova is one of the most-comfortable MPVs that are currently on sale in the country. It is now sold in its second-gen avatar and has recently received a mid-cycle update that has helped it with some fresher appeal. Even the last-gen model was famous for its ride comfort and spacious interior.  For these very reasons, owners of the Toyota Innova are often seen modifying their rides to an even more luxurious one. Interestingly, most of these mods are performed by DC Designs, which is a famous Indian tuning house. Here’s a modified example of the last-gen Toyota Innova, which has been customized by DC and is currently on sale for Rs. 8.50 lakh.

The modified Innova showcased in the pictures is 2013 make and has clocked a little less than 30,000 kilometres on the odo. However, it is currently owned by its second owner. This Innova has been tuned to look sportier from the outside and super-luxurious from the inside. Talking of the interior, the second and third row of seats are removed from this Innova, and it gets a pair of recliners, instead. Also, a fixed partition has been made behind the driver and co-driver seats that separate the rear compartment from the front row. Moreover, it gets a massive LCD along with a set of tray tables to make it a business class affair for the rear seat occupants.

On the outside, the bumpers have been tweaked to lend it with some distinctive appeal. Also, the Toyota logo on the front radiator grille and the boot lid is replaced with a DC badge. While this modified Toyota Innova continues to sit on the OEM-spec alloy wheels, the side profile gets custom cladding and flush-fit running boards. Overall, these changes have helped this Innova look upmarket in comparison to its regular counterpart.

Currently, the MPV is sold in its second-gen iteration as Innova Crysta. It comes with two engine options – 2.7L petrol and 2.4L diesel. Transmission choices include a 5-speed MT and a 6-speed AT. Prices for the Innova Crysta start at Rs. 16.26 lakh and top out at Rs. 24.33 lakh. The Innova Crysta rivals the likes of MG Hector Plus, Mahindra Marazzo and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
