On the latest images of Tata Harrier H5X, the car will feature red as a color option. Read on for more information about this new SUV from Tata.

Tata Harrier - Born of Pedigree 

At 2018 Auto Expo, Tata has introduced the H5X concept. From then on, the HX5 has been actively tested. The newest spy images have revealed that the HX5’s color option will include red color. It is now confirmed that the new car will be called Tata Harrier.

After its debut, the car will sit above the Hexa. This five-seater SUV will be the flagship SUV of Tata. Tata assures that the new SUV will be good-looking as well as a great performer.

Tata Harrier has the similar platform with the Range Rover Evoque which means that it will be a true-blue off-roader. Moreover, it will be an off-roader with a premium feature package inside. 

Based on Tata’s OMEGA architecture and inspired by the Impact 2.0 design philosophy, the HX5 will be no less than stunning. The Impact 2.0 design philosophy is the upgrade version of the design language which has influenced a range of models, namely, Tata Nexon, the Tiago, the Hexa and as well as the  Tigor  Notchback.

From the exterior, the Harrier’s design will be on the muscular side. As what is promised by Tata, the Harrier comes with a big-sized wheel of 18 inches. Besides, the signature Humanity Line which has also appeared in recent Tata models will remain. There are much to hope for in terms of the design.

For the interior, Tata Harrier will not fail to impress with a full-loaded features list. The floating touchscreen infotainment display, automatic climate control, and electric ORVMs are among of the features available on the Harrier. 

Tata Harriet will share the same engine with the Jeep Compass, which is the 2.0 liter Fiat diesel engine. The engine will generate up to 140 PS of power. The transmission options include manual and automatic transmission. The Harriet offers both two-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive version.

The rivals of Tata Harriet might be Hyundai Creta and Jeep Compass. It is expected to be priced from Rs 12-13 lakhs.
