By January 1, TKM had already received over 200 bookings for the fourth-gen Toyota Camry Hybrid. So far 130 units of the new vehicle have been sold. Considering its quite high introductory price of Rs 37.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the mid-size sedan has had a better start than expected.
In terms of price, it is cheaper than the Honda Accord Hybrid, which costs Rs 43.21 lakh. However, the new Camry is much more expensive than the Skoda Superb and the VW Passat, which cost from Rs 25.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
