2020 Hyundai Verna New Variant Details Leaked

The variants and colour shades of the 2020 Hyundai Verna are now revealed. The Korean carmaker will reveal the all-new Hyundai Verna in four different trim levels namely- S, S+, SX and SX(O).

Hyundai Verna is among the most popular mid-size sedans in its segment, and competes with Honda City, Maruti Ciaz and Volkswagen Vento. The launch of the new-gen Hyundai Verna is just around the corner. The variants and colour shades of the 2020 Hyundai Verna are now revealed. The Korean carmaker will retail the all-new Hyundai Verna in four different trim levels, namely S, S+, SX, and SX(O). The sedan will be offered six-unique colour shades- Typhoon Silver, Polar White, Starry Night, Phantom Black, Titan Grey, and Fiery Red.

The sedan will derive power from two petrol and one diesel engine option. The SX and SX(O) trims will be offered with a diesel powertrain, while the top-of-the-line, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol mill is expected to be offered only with the SX(O) variant. All the three engine options will be offered with BSVI-compliant engine options as the stringent emission norms will come into action by 1st April 2020.

The sedan carries a sharp and sleek look

The base petrol motor is a 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated mill, which puts out power and torque outputs of 115 bhp and 144 Nm. The 1.5-litre, turbocharged diesel engine 115 bhp of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties will be done by a 6-speed transmission. One can also expect the addition of 6-speed torque converter AT with the diesel trim and CVT transmission with the petrol variant.

The launch of the new-gen Hyundai Verna is just around the corner

The manual diesel trim offers 21.4 kmpl of mileage. The range-topping, 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol unit will be a new addition, borrowed from Hyundai Venue. The engine will only come coupled to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The engine puts out 120 bhp of power and 177 Nm of twisting force. The mid-size sedan will comes loaded with features like paddle shifters, gloss black grille, a twin-tip exhaust, blacked-out interior with red accents and parking sensors(front and rear).
