Talking about the Hyundai Santro, the hatchback derives power from a BSVI-compliant version of the same 1.1-litre, four-pot, petrol mill that powered the earlier version. It puts out 68bhp of peak power at 5,5000 rpm and 99 Nm of twisting force at 4,5000 rpm. The engine comes paired with a 5-speed manual as standard and a 5-speed AMT as optional. The car is being offered in four different variants, namely- Era Executive, Magna, Sportz and Asta. The Korean automaker relaunched the iconic Santro hatchback in our market back in 2018. While the new model could create some excitement among the small car buyers in the initial few months, it has been pretty comprehensively outsold by the Maruti WagonR.
