Mahindra Bolero Pickup Crosses 1.5 Lakh Unit Sales Milestone In India

Mahindra LCV category now takes over as high as 58 per cent market share in India.

India’s domestic-grown auto giant Mahindra & Mahindra on Monday said in a release that the company’s pickup range has already crossed 1.5 lakh units in terms of domestic sales during the FY 2018-2019. Has been the market leader ever since launch, Mahindra’s pick-up vehicles which cater to the segment of cargo transport with a variety of models on offer like the Bolero Maxi Truck, Bolero Pickup, Bolero Camper and Imperio, is seeing extremely good sales numbers in the Indian car space.

From April 1st 2018 to March 31st 2019, the Bolero Pickup has scaled to the heights of its sale chart with 1,62,000 vehicles sold across the nation. When compared to 1,49,121 selling units in the same period of FY2018, the pickup range has logged an increase of 9 per cent, hence showing the highest sales growth ever on an annual basis. As a matter of fact, this tip-top performance of the Mahindra Bolero Pickup managed to achieve as high as 58 per cent market share during the last fiscal year, thereby established its commanding position in India's 2-3.5 tons light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment.


The Mahindra Bolero Pickup Range obtained about 58% market share in the LCV segment.

To recapitulate briefly, the Mahindra Bolero Pickup has gone on sale in India at the price positioning between Rs 5.9 Lakh and Rs 7.6 Lakh (ex-showroom, India).
