Mahindra has recently pushed back the launch of Y400 SUV. The Mahindra Y400 SUV will now change the date to be at late of October and likely to be priced from Rs 22 lakh.

Been familiar with the codename 'Y400', the SUV has finally got the name XUV700. Mahindra has recently delayed the launch of Mahindra Y400 which is considered the upcoming flagship SUV of Mahindra. Mahindra has decided the date for the XUV700 to reach the showroom on October 9, 2018. However, as per report, the launching date has delayed being at late of October.

Mahindra Y400 is considered the upcoming flagship SUV of Mahindra

It is explained by the first reason that the dealers wanted to spare the time for the Marazzo MPV which is recently launched on September 3, 2018. Launching the Y400 on October 9, Mahindra will only leave only about a month-long gap for the two launches. As a result, the dealers wish to bring more floor-space for the MPV before introducing another product.

The second reason is that most of the Mahindra dealerships now are under upgrade and renovation along with the addition of Mahindra Prime Zone

Apart from the above, other automotive events scheduled around that date from other brands also put a hold to Y400 SUV to be pushed back to the end of October. Typically, Honda has already announced the launch of the CR-V on October 9, 2018.
