The MG Hector Plus has been revealed through an official image that leaked online recently. In the pic, you can the upcoming model featuring a new colour option and some updated styling elements that make the car look slighlty more upmarket than the regular Hector. MG has officially opened bookings for the new SUV across dealerships and the SUV has also started to be manufactured at the Halol plant of MG Motors India. The new MG Plus is slated for launch in the coming days.

MG Hector Plus Previewed Ahead Of Launch
The MG Hector Plus has been confirmed to be available with two layout options: a 6-seater and a 7-seater. The 6-seater variants will be available with individual captain seats for the middle row. The 7-seater ones will get a three-seater bench for the middle seat row. The MG Hector Plus will be available in Super, Smart and Sharp trims.
As seen in the picture, the MG Hector Plus will get a new blue paint scheme in addition to all the colour options which has been available with the Hector. The new SUV will also receive some styling updates such as redesigned automatic headlights, new DRLs, a restyled front grille, new front and rear bumpers, new taillights and a new skid plate. Another outstanding feature is the hands-free tailgate access which allows you to open the car boot by simply swiping your leg under the bumper. A sensor has been integrated into the bumper, thanks to which, the boot can be automatically opened. The other features have been borrowed from the MG Hector.

Like its sibling, the MG Hector Plus will be equipped with a wide range of top-notch features. These include a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, i-Smart Internet car, two-zone climate control, ventilated seats, six airbags and a 360-degree camera.
The powertrains will be carried over from the Hector and will include: a 1.5-litre turbo gasoline burner and a 2.0-litre FCA-sourced turbo diesel unit. While the petrol motor can generate 143 PS against 250 Nm, the latter is good for 143 PS against 250 Nm. Moreover, the turbo petrol unit will also come with a mild-hybrid system. The MG Hector Plus is expected to be priced INR 1 lakh higher than the regular Hector, which is currently priced between INR 12.73 lakh and INR 17.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
