New 2018 Hyundai Santro: What To Expect From This New Vehicle?
The Hyundai Santro is now available in seven different colours: Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Marina Blue, Stardust (dark grey) and the two new ones: Diana Green and Imperial Beige.
The new Santro exterior features a more angular appearance which goes well with the design idea utilized by all the modern Hyundai products.
In the front, there is a new cascading grille with large fog lamps on both sides, which makes the vehicle look bolder. Above the grille is the sweeping angular headlamps.
In the side profile, the car is equipped with 14-inch steel wheels equipped with wheel caps. Moreover, ORVMs with LED turn indicators and a kink which raises the rear door windows’ glass area are also added to contribute to the sportiness of the vehicle.
Coming to the rear, you can realize that it looks like the Grand i10 with short and thick tail lamps as well as a bumper of dual colour tones.
Underpinned by the new K1 platform, the new Santro is 3,610mm long, 1,645mm wide and 1,560mm high with a 2,400mm wheelbase, remaining its tall-boy appearance and offering a large head and knee room.

The 2018 Hyundai Santro interior features a grey and beige tone available in all seven exterior colours. The cabin is typical of a Hyundai car with a large screen packed with AC vents on both sides. It is a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as a rearview camera. The rear AC vents are equipped with a manual air conditioning system.

The Santro receives power from a 1.1-litre E-Epsilon motor with four cylinders. This engine can churn out 69PS of max power and 99Nm of peak torque. The power is spread to the front wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT unit.
The 2018 Santro hatchback will also be offered with the CNG options on the Magna and Sportz variants, where the motor can generate 59PS of power and 84Nm of torque.
