Suzuki will soon discontinue the second-gen Swift (first-gen Maruti Swift) in Pakistan in 2021. The carmaker will now directly introduce the latest model of the hatchback in our neighbouring market.

As per a recent report, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) will discontinue the second-gen Swift in Pakistan from next year. The report suggests that an official letter has notified all automaker’s stakeholders about Swift’s discontinuation in August next year. The hatchback was first launched in the Pakistani market back in 2010, and initially, it was only offered with a 1.3-litre gasoline motor coupled to a manual gearbox. But, after two years, the carmaker introduced an automatic gearbox option.
