MG Hector Plus’s prices have been recently increased by up to INR 46,000. The Hector Plus is now priced from Rs. 13.74 lakh to Rs. 18.69 lakh. The price hike has the most profound effect on the Style Diesel MT variant and the least impact on the Smart and Super trims. In the official launch of the SUV in July, MG Motor announced that the introductory prices of the MG Hector Plus will be hiked by up to INR 50,000 one month later. MG Hector Plus vs Toyota Innova Crysta – The Battle of Big & Badass
The MG Hector Plus bears several differences from the MG Hector in terms of its design and features. The chrome and plastic bits seen around the radiator grille and headlamp assembly on the MG Hector are not available in the Hector Plus. Both the front and rear bumpers in the Hector Plus have been redesigned in comparison to the Hector. As regards the interior, the Hector Plus comes with a more upmarket tan brown leather upholstery instead of the all-black interior of its 5-seater sibling. All the features offered in the Hector have been carried over to the Hector Plus. This includes a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Infinity sound system, powered front seats, a panoramic sunroof, an ambient lighting system, and a swipe feature for the tailgate opening.

New MG Hector Plus Trim-Wise Features Out
The MG Hector Plus receives its power from a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor and a 2.0-litre oil-burner unit. While the former can generate 143 PS against 250 Nm, the latter can produce 170 PS against 350 Nm. The transmission options comprise of a 6-speed MT for both the engine options, but the smaller turbo-petrol can be had with a 6-speed DCT as well. and is paired with a 6speed MT. Moreover, customers can also choose a Hybrid petrol variant which is powered by the petrol motor paired to a 48V mild hybrid system. In the Indian auto market, the MG Hector Plus currently competes against the Mahindra XUV500, Toyota Innova Crysta and the upcoming Tata Gravitas.
