Ahead of its official global premiere at the 2019 Toyota Motor Show, the new-gen Honda Jazz which is also known as Honda Fit in the global market has been spied a couple of times.a Recently, the fourth-gen Honda Jazz was seen again, this time without camouflage.

However, in these latest spy shots, only the Honda Jazz’s front fascia can be seen. New pictures suggest that the hatchback will feature a curvier design overall. It comes with a smaller grille, and the old thin headlights make way for rounder, larger units which are integrated with LED projector lights. With the new updates, the next-gen Honda Jazz looks, pardon the pun, jazzier and more appealing.
Under the hood, the 2020 Honda Fit will be offered with two engine options - a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre aspirated petrol engine. It has been confirmed that Honda will make use of a dual electric-motor hybrid system for the next-gen Fit. For the Indian market, Honda Jazz (Fit) is expected to come with the familiar 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine which are available on the current model. Moreover, the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol from International markets can be added to the engine range as well. In its existing form, the 1.2-litre petrol engine generates 89 PS and 110 Nm of power, while the 1.5-litre diesel engine is good for 98 PS and 200 Nm.
Fourth-gen Honda Jazz is likely go on sale in India around early 2021
The Honda Fit plays an important role in Honda’s international business plans. However, the Indian-spec Honda Jazz is facing stiff competition from other rivals in its space. At the moment, Honda Jazz is on sale at a price range starting from Rs 7.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to Rs 9.33 lakh (ex-showroom). This hatchback is competing against the likes of Maruti Baleno, Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, Volkswagen Polo and the upcoming Tata Altroz. The Indian launch of the fourth-gen Honda Jazz is likely to take place around early 2021.
