The launch of the highly awaited 2020 Hyundai Verna is just around the corner. The C-segment sedan has finally reached the dealership floors and is expected to launch in the coming days. A recent report suggests that 2020 Hyundai Verna will be retailed at a starting price of Rs 9.3 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model will be offered in three different variants, namely- S, SX and SX (O).

The India-spec 2020 Hyundai Verna looks quite similar to the Russia-spec model. The premium sedan features a host of cosmetic updates on its front and rear-end. Moreover, the updated sedan now features all-new BS6 compliant powertrain options. Given below are the prices of the new 2020 Hyundai Verna.

Outside, the 2020 Hyundai Verna employs a new swept-back headlight cluster along with chic LED DRLs, a new wide grille and sporty looking bumper up front. The side profile of the sedan employs smart-looking dual-tone alloy wheels, while the rear profile of the new sedan features a new set of tail lamps along with a bold looking bumper. The cabin of the 2020 Verna will employ a new dashboard, floating 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a new style of A/C vents.

The India-spec 2020 Hyundai Verna looks quite similar to the Russia-spec model
Mechanically, the 2020 Hyundai Verna will derive power from a 1.5-litre petrol and diesel mill that produces 115 PS of power, while the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine produces 120 PS of power. The 1.5-litre petrol unit will come paired with a 6-speed and CVT, while the oil-burner will be coupled to a 6-speed MT and an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Moreover, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine will come paired with a 7-speed DCT.
