The Korean-spec 2021 Elantra is propelled by a petrol and LPG unit
The new sedan looks quite exciting as it gets a huge cascading grille with smart looking parametric-jewel pattern and integrated side blinkers upfront. The mid-size sedan also employs two-tone alloy wheels, body-coloured door handles, connected LED taillights and sporty looking rear spoiler. Inside, the car features sleek AC vents, full leather upholstery and futuristic-looking panels with premium piano-black accents.
The cabin of the car looks quite upmarket as compared to the earlier version of the sedan. In terms of dimensions, the all-new model is 30 mm longer, 25 mm wider and 20 mm lower than its predecessor. Moreover, the wheelbase of the car is 30 mm longer than that of the previous version. The 2021 Hyundai Elantra is based on the company’s all-new K3 platform, which makes the new sedan 45 kgs lighter than the previous-gen model.

The South Korea-spec model is offered with G1.6 petrol and LPi 1.6 LPG powertrain options. The G1.6 petrol motor puts out 123 PS and 153.96 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the LPG mill produces 120 PS of peak power and 152 Nm of twisting force. The petrol mill is being offered with a 6-speed MT and CVT transmission options, while the LPG unit is only available with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

2020 Hyundai Elantra is based on company's third-gen K3 paltform
The sedan comes loaded with features like a 10.25-inch customizable virtual instrument console, automatic climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system unit, front ventilated seats, heated rear seats, 8-speaker Bose sound system, 10-way electric adjustable driver seat, 64-colour customizable mood lighting and much more. The carmaker will expectedly launch the 2021 Hyundai Elantra in India next year.
