Kia Seltos enjoys a high demand in the Indian automotive market. It is currently manufactured at the South-Korean carmaker’s Anantpur-based facility in Andhra Pradesh. It is the only manufacturing facility that Kia has in the country from where the Seltos is supplied across the nation. Therefore, a high cost is involved in transporting Kia cars to various Kia dealerships in the country. To reduce the overall cost and the carbon footprint associated with the transportation of cars, Indian railways is working in tandem with the carmakers to transport cars via freight trains to different cities. On a similar note, Central Railway division of Indian Railways will now be transporting Kia Seltos to different cities across the country.
