The new model of Kia’s sports car, Kia Stinger GTS 2020 is showcased at the 2019 New York International Auto Show. This special model is limited to 800 units only. The price is expected to start from around $44,000.
The Kia Stinger GTS comes as a special option in the Stinger’s range. To maximize the performance of the Stinger GTS, it gets a newly-developed all-wheel-drive system option along with the RWD system. The standard Stinger also gets all drive system but what makes the GTS different from the regular version is its multi driving modes, namely, Comfort, Sports and Drift mode. These modes will regulate the amount of power sent to the rear wheels. In the Drift model, the power is sent to the rear wheels in full force while in Comfort mode, only 60 per cent are transferred to the rear wheels and for the Sports mode, the rear will get 80 per cent split of the total power.

Kia Stinger GTS also gets the limited slip rear differential which will evenly distribute the power to the rear wheels in case of car slip, hence increasing the traction and keep the car under control. The system is revised from what was previously represented at the RWD Stinger.
Exteriorly, the Stinger GTS is only available in one colour option which is the Federation orange. On the rear side, it bears a different badge with GTS and Stinger moniker in place of the Kia emblem on the boot lid. In an attempt to assert the sportiness in the exterior, Kia has used carbon fibre on several car parts, including the mirror, grille, the side vents.
