Recently, Maruti Suzuki has launched the Ertiga-based XL6 at price bracket from Rs 9.79 lakh to 11.46 lakh. Unlike its predecessor Ertiga which is sold at Arena dealerships, Maruti XL6 is retailed via the Nexa showrooms across India.
Maruti XL6 is built on the same lightweight Heartect platform which is inherited from the Ertiga. Even though sitting on the same platform, sporting the same dimensions, the seating configuration of the two models differs from each other. While the Ertiga is a truly seven-seat MPV, the XL6 comes as a six-seater with two captain seats for the second row. As the result, the XL6 offers more interior room and a higher level of comfort.
Compared with the Ertiga, the Maruti XL6 comes with new exterior features a black-out grill with due chrome bars, revised bumper with LED DRLs, quad-chamber LED headlights, rectangular foglight housing, side-profile black cladding and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Additionally, Maruti Suzuki also gives this new model a wide range of new features, offering a premium fitment package for customers of the XL6.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 inherits the 1.5-litre four-cylinder K15 petrol engine assisted by hybrid technology from the Maruti Ertiga. This engine is capable of making a peak power of 104 PS and a maximum torque of 138 Nm. It comes with both 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic transmission. These powertrains are compliant with the upcoming BSVI norms.
