Selling nearly 7,000 units in a month is a dream for many SUV manufacturers in India. However, Hyundai has expected a bigger result for the best-selling Hyundai Creta in its first month on sale. The main reason for the underwhelming sales performance is the outbreak of pandemic which has put the whole country in lockdown from March 25, a week after the launch of the new Creta. The situation is likely to continue toward the end of April, leaving a serious impact on the sales of this month as well. It is expected that once the market recovers, the sales of the Hyundai Creta will hit over 10,000 units a month.
