Some Nissan dealerships have unofficially opened the bookings for the Nissan new SUV despite the official bookings are yet to begin. The introductory price is stated to be at Rs. 50,000. Nissan has confirmed to launch the all-new SUV on January 2019 while the dealers announced to start the delivery at the end of the month.

In terms of interior, the cabin will be featured with a dual-tone colour scheme which is brown and black. The inside look is impressive with the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is available with the 360 degree surround view camera. This is similar to the Nissan Altima sedan rolled out in the US. Besides, the steering with audio controls and the seats will be covered with leather finish. In which, the steering will get black tone while the seats go with a contrast brown-and-black finish. Additionally, to add to the cabin’s premium look, Nissan added a silver finish for the inside door handles. The side AC vents which are circular will also get a silver surround.

Adding one more outstanding feature into the interior, Nissan has positioned the dials for the climate control system under the infotainment screen, coming with the charging socket and the USB port.

In general, the Kicks and Renault’s Captur will offer a plenty of interior features in common including the shape of the instrument cluster, the front seats and the front-centre armrest although the design is said to be quite different.

The 106hp, 1.5-litre petrol
The 110hp, 1.5-litre diesel
The SUV will be available in 2 engine options
The petrol will come with a five-speed manual will the diesel will be paired with a -speed manual. There are no automatic or AWD versions on offer at launch.
As for the prices of Nissan Kicks, it will be unveiled in the first few weeks of January 2019. However, it is expected to be in the range of Rs 9.4-15 lakh. With this price, it will take on the likes of the Renault Captur, Hyundai Creta and Maruti Suzuki S-cross.
